Labyrinth is a visual documentation of a maze-constructed installation. The confined space forms a cavern, holding rough walls, shaped by the shadows of its inhabitant. Its interior is filled with an entanglement of threads, shaped into a spider web.
Usually, the spider web is shaped in a symmetrical pattern. However, this conjunction of threads is weaved in diverse directions, structured in an arbitrary manner. Instead of thinking about its functional purpose, it’s formed by the intuitive. Its strains shape different paths, carefully weaved into each other, creating a labyrinth.
Where there doesn’t seem to be a directly detectable ingress and egress, the installation rather symbolizes the outer fortress that guards my inner spirit. The intimacy of my inner self is reachable, but its route might be indistinct, intricate, and laborious. Nevertheless, despite its complexity, the riddle has its answer. While overcoming the fright of the threatening appearance of the exterior, approaching with patience, goodwill is found. While walking away, not facing the appearance of danger, the traveler might get entangled, creating knots in the web, lasting for an indefinite length of time.
At the first appearance, the labyrinth seems to be a menacing space. However, the opposite is true. Instead of finding a dead fly in the center, a soul is found, eliminating the projection of the unapproachable.
